AI for UX

Apr 5, 2024

Should we be using it AI for UX? Yes. Knowing how to use AI effectively is key to elevating productivity and remaining competitive. Additionally, it helps us identify opportunities for business growth and enhanced user experience - AI & UX: A reality check with Jakob Nielsen, The State of UX in 2024: Trends, Rehiring and AI.

Tools: Currently, AI for automaton is pretty useful, AI for research and design is still not great, and while AI shouldn’t be used to replace standard UX design processes, it's actually decent for ideation. I use AI for assistance - ChatGPT for writing and Otter for transcribing. I don’t use AI tools for design work yet, but I’m experimenting with a few programs.

Here’s my playlist and guides:

AI tools for UI Designers,
Brainstorm ideas FASTER in Figjam AI,
How to use chatGPT for UI/UX design,
AI UX design: A New Way Of Designing,
Crazy New AI Tools for UI Designers! – Lottie AI, Bezi AI, Dora AI
Figma New A.I. Plugins! – UX Pilot, AI Mockups, Typedream, & More
and Pitch for slide deck design ideas.
Later, I’ll play with GPTs.

Jascha Goltermann: The Impact of AI on UX Design - GenAI interactions are non-linear, which allows for hyper-personalization. We already use AI, so how can we use GenAI in more case studies?
